ugh

words can not possibly describe how i feel right now.

okay, maybe they could. whatever. but anyway, i’m feeling pretty goddamn bad right now.

sometimes i wonder why life works in certain ways.

you know… sometimes it seems like one second, a person could be rooting for you, sticking up for you, and the next second being a total jerk. o_O life is weird sometimes.

i feel kinda confused and really… not good. you know what i need? i need a hug.

New page

I have a new small little website up at marusu.channelblue.net. I intend to spiff it up a bit. It’ll be my website while this will be my weblog. Remember the difference.

Life is complex.

You know, I think I’m starting to lose touch with my ‘net friends. Or some of them, at least. It’s kinda sad.

I’ve always been bad at getting and keeping friendships in real life- the few I currently have were probably either achieved through sheer luck, or someone up above pities me. :(

And now, I think the same is starting to affect my friendships on the net. Ugh. When will it ever end?

School’s out~

Yes. :DD

The Daily Grind

Yay! So, I decided to start making a column. Yes, a column! I’ll write this once a week and it’ll be like the only guaranteed thing to be up at any given time. Tuesdays, check out the new The Daily Grind. :D Here we go. Continue reading ‘The Daily Grind’

School is almost out

Summer is here! School is almost out, and I can’t wait for it to all be over :D

I feel like… singing :D Or writing a poem or something :D

I’m baaaaaaack!

Yeah. I kinda messed up a bit. I didn’t go to Orangeburg. I went to Queensbury. Sorry for the mixup.

So, HVVFA (Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association) convention 2006 was FUN! Damn awesome. Parade awards, you may be asking? Marlboro got 1st place in their category (20-26 people, blouse) and their colorguard got a 2nd place overall! Hell yeah! :D

Ossining got best overall this year, which my mom and I thought was a bit odd, cause when we saw them they looked like shit. o.O Oh well, who knows.

What’s even worse, someone sabotaged Marlboro’s truck. :( Someone (prolly who was jealous of years before) threw a whole bunch of dirt in all the compartments of the apparatus we brought with us to the parade. That sucked.

So, yeah. I’m back! Yay!

Savage Garden - Santa Monica

In Santa Monica in the winter time
The lazy streets so undemanding
I walk into the crowd
In santa monica you get your coffee from
The coolest places on the promenade
Bhere people dress just so
Beauty so unavoidable everywhere you turn
It’s there I sit and wonder what am I doing here

But on the telephone line I am anyone
I am anything I want to be
I could be a super model or Norman Mailer
And you wouldn’t know the difference
Or would you

In Santa Monica all the people got modern names
Like Jake or Mandy
And modern bodies too
In Santa Monica on the boulevard
You’ll have to dodge those in line skaters
Or they’ll knock you down
I never felt so lonely
Never felt so out of place
I never wanted something more than this

But on the telephone line I am anyone
I am anything I want to be
I could be a super model or Norman Mailer
And you wouldn’t know the difference
On the telephone line I am any height
I am any age I want to be
I could be a caped crusader or space invader
And you wouldn’t know the difference
Or would you

This is a test.

I’ve been having some problems with posting ever since I upgraded to WP 2.0.3, namely instead of getting a “Your article has been posted” message or whatever, getting a bunch of MySQL errors, and this is just a test post to see if I got it fixed.

Update: Yeah, I think that fixed it.

Updates on stuff!

Well. Next week. :D

Monday is the last full day of school. Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as the Wednesday after this are exams for me.

This Thursday through Sunday, I will be on hiatus up in Orangeburg for the annual HVVFC (Hudson Valley Volunteer Firefighters Convention). I’ll take some pictures of the parade =)

Also, some of you may have noticed the nice new style. (Yeah, both of you who read this blog- you know who you are) It’s called Sawchuk, and it’s made by the nice guy(s?) over at Maxpower.ca. I love the theme, guys. Super work. Keep it up.

And that’s it for now! Regular posts will resume (and hopefully I’ll be able to be around 4~6 posts a week this summer) on the Monday after this. Happy summer =)

(And jeezus, I think I’m getting a bit too used to my mom’s thinkpad. I keep putting my finger towards the center of this keyboard every time I go to use the mouse >_<)
