I wonder…

Jack Thompson… instead of suing game companies for making violent video games that inspire people to re-enact the scenarios within… why not just send ‘em to Iraq and let ‘em kick some ass there? God knows our country needs it.

New Header!

Taken from an iTunes visualization. I love those things. <3

Just a suggestion…

But if you happen to be someone I know in real life or a family member and are reading this, well, my birthday is only 8 months away (hahaha, preparing in advance :D) and, well, even if you’re not but you like my blog and want to donate to me in some way or another…

You can buy me one of these. My email for that is wdonaldson at dyo-ecksdee dot com. Remember to replace the at with an @ and the dot with a . :D

I need to start writing again.

And no, I don’t really mean blog entries. I mean fiction. You know, stories, novels, epics, whatever you wanna call ‘em.

So, basically I bet you’re wondering about what happened to chapter 4 of EoN… well, I haven’t finished it yet. I haven’t even been working on it. x.x I feel so far out that I shouldn’t even try to finish it… x.x

But, I need something else to comprise my time. So, you might see me posting up some short stories or poems here and on dA. Who knows, I might have one tomorrow (if I get myself together, get off my lazy ass and actually write something).

But, yeah, in the meantime, all I’m gonna do tonight is listen to ATB (which I have been for the past few hours :)) and rest.

Link of the day week month: Last.fm

I’ve linked to them before, but it’s a damn good site so I’ma link to them again. Last.fm is a social music site, basically the prodigy of AudioScrobbler- you download an AudioScrobbler plugin and get the last.fm Radio app, and it’ll take the songs you listen to, give you music reccommendations, list people who like the same music you do, and much much more. Try it out today!

Oh, and here’s my page.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s day, guys! Hope ya get lotsa smooches and chocolate. :D

My iPod did a Jesus.

Google earth is very, very cool. I’ve gotten to try it out for the past few days, and it’s an extraordinary piece of software, though it does have a few shortcomings.

And I’ve got another story to tell. :D Oh joy, a story from Bii! :D

So, basically, my iPod has been acting wonky ever since the 2006-01-10 iPod Software update from Apple. And then, Sunday night, it bit the dust.

My god, I was terrified. TERRIFIED. I was all sweating and delerious because, well, my computer was already taken away, and then my only other form of enjoyment literally died! That night, instead of hearing soft piano music come from my speakers, I heard the hard drive spin up and then get stuck, only to try and spin up and get stuck again, about 10 billion times. (Yes, I actually do listen to piano music at night. It helps me get to sleep.)

So, sometime Tuesday I think it was, I was all still devastated and trying to get it to work… and after having dropped it a few times, the drive trying to spin up was making a different noise than usual. “Oh, crap, I must’ve really screwed it up now,” I thought. But… as always, I was wrong.

So, then, a bit later, it goes back to making the other noise again, and then all of a sudden… instead of displaying the sad iPod icon, it instead displayed the much less harmless folder with an exclamation point! My first thought was, “OMG YAY MY IPOD IS STARTING TO WORK AGAIN HAPPY DAY.” My second thought was, “NOW I HAVE NO REASON TO GET A NEW IPOD.” >_>

So, yeah, now it works again. Haven’t had much trouble since… but I still want one of the new 5G’s that plays video. Rumors say that they’re gonna release one that plays video in fullscreen using the entire front of the iPod as a touchscreen display. Maybe I should wait for that… nah.
